Originally from Sikeston Missouri, Crystal White is cofounder of White Ladder Productions. She specializes in researching and curating primary materials (including images) that are essential in constructing complete, satisfying narratives. She is a proficient genealogist who works on our subjects’ familial and professional histories for documentary films, oral histories, and digital content. Crystal also works as an assistant editor in the post-production process. Crystal attended Drury University where she earned a degree in English, writing, and religion, with a minor in global studies. Crystal also earned a master’s degree in theological studies from Harvard University. She then moved south to New York City, where she earned a master’s of science degree in teaching from Pace University. Crystal uses her academic training to bring depth and academic rigor to the work. As a content creator, Crystal brings stories to life through film, sound, and visual storytelling. As a writer, editor, or audio enthusiast, her creativity brings texture and color to our work. Crystal is constantly exploring new tools and techniques to elevate our content and engage audiences in meaningful ways. She is a truly versatile and capable creator.
